16 year old

Since November 1, 2011 it is finally time. Due to the decision of the Senate, anyone born after 1 November 1994 may take the practical exam at the age of 17 at the CBR and take driving lessons from the age of 16.5.

Anyone born before 1 November 1994 can take driving lessons from the age of 17 and take the exam on the day they turn 18.

In addition, the age for the Intermediate Test will be reduced to 16.5 from 1 November and the validity of the Theory Certificate Driving License B will be extended from 12 to 18 months.

Get a driver’s license before your 18th

If you get your driver’s license before you are 18, you may be accompanied by a WRM-authorized driving instructor or under the supervision of someone who is 27 or older and has held a valid driver’s license for at least 5 years. To counter the enormous influx of exam candidates, the CBR has set a maximum of 750 17-year exam candidates per week. This means that in the first year a maximum of 39,000 young people can participate in this test of the CBR.
